The community foundation field across Europe is richly diverse in form, function and stage of development. This atlas, which is a ‘live’ resource and regularly updated, presents information on 791 community foundations and the support infrastructure where available.
The Atlas and Directory provide searchable information organised by geography and country. This includes names, locations, websites and social media. Created in collaboration with support organisations, they are updated regularly. Users are encouraged to report any errors or omissions.
Please note that the Atlas remains under-representative of the field in Europe, as some organisations do not wish to be included, and reliable information is sometimes unavailable for various reasons. Our research indicates that there are more than 850 community foundations in 27 countries in Europe.
