‘We expect that a map will help us to find new donors and keep the existing ones’

Our digital transformation challenge
Nitra Community Foundation (NCF) needs, because of COVID 19 pandemic, to include more online tools into its work. It improves the internet portal which is used for the grant applications, it continues to use and improve the online donation portal.
Our solution
NCF prepares a new online tool – an interactive map which will provide visualizing of the volunteering projects which have been supported by the Nitra Community Foundation. The web map will work as “living organism” which will also inform on actual events realized within the supported projects. It will be connected with FaceBook and Instagram to provide a flexible sharing of information. The map will enable to show the results based on the different criteria (e.g. locations on the map where the results of the supported projects are located, sorting of the supported projects based on the field of support, the year of support, the donors….). The map will significantly help us to show our donors, grantees and other stakeholders the results of our work and it is important for sustainability of our organization. We expect that a map will help us to find new donors and keep the existing ones. From the long term option, it will help us to provide better sustainability.
Takeaways from the action learning process
“Learning while doing” is a very effective and flexible format which enables to the busy and hardworking people be better focused on the topic and share experiences within a good, friendly, and really inspiring atmosphere. It is based on the “coaching” which leads you without any pressure.
Issues that remain unresolved
We don´t expect any important difficulties or challenges in the process. We have quite a clear idea how it should look like and how it should work.
