Study Visits
Study visits are our flagship initiative allowing for deep exploration of the community foundation field in a specific country and for mutual learning. As part of a European delegation of community foundation practitioners, participants learn first-hand and in-person from the hosts and from the diverse experiences of community foundations across Europe and use these insights to inform the community foundation development in their home country.
Study visits are a central part of the ECFI learning experience. Every year, we partner with a national community foundation support organisation and we build together a rich interactive programme.
Study visits bring together one community foundation practitioner from each country in Europe, who is willing to learn from the host’s activities and that of other participants, to contribute with their own knowledge and experience, and to share learning on their return.
Usually lasting from 3-5 days, this rich immersive experience is an unmissable chance to grow your practice, your organisation and build new alliances.
