Thematic Peer Groups

Thematic peer groups are open to those in the community foundation field who wish to engage in-depth exchange with peers around a particular topic or field of activity. They provide a welcoming space, online and in person, to connect, exchange experiences, and learn alongside a supportive network of like-minded peers.

Current peer groups

Supporting Community Foundation Climate Action

Explore how climate change affects communities, and the role community foundations can play in mitigation and adaptation. Learn more about our Climate & Philanthropy Learning Journey, Climate Action Days, and collaboration with Philanthropy For Climate.

Youth Participation and Leadership

Foster youth leadership and meaningful involvement in decision-making across the CF field. Join the ECFI Youth Fest, monthly Community Coffee (U35), and thematic online meetings.

Community Foundation Movement Leadership

This peer group brings together European community foundation leaders who learn from one another and act in solidarity to strengthen the movement. They exchange real-world insights, challenge and support each other with honesty and empathy, and co-create practical solutions on democratic resilience, community cohesion, organisational sustainability, and personal resilience.
