5th December, 11am-12.30pm CET
With COP30 underway, global climate action faces headwinds. This means that local, community-driven solutions are more vital than ever. Positive social tipping points – moments when small actions ignite large-scale change – can accelerate the shift toward sustainability. Join us for this ECFI thematic meeting to explore how these transformative dynamics can inspire practical strategies for community foundations driving local climate action.
We’re delighted to welcome two inspiring speakers: Dr. Franziska Gaupp, social transformation researcher at the University of Osnabrück, and Peter Lefort, who leads the Green Futures Network at the University of Exeter. They will introduce the concept of social tipping points and present the Positive Tipping Point Toolkit, a hands-on resource for identifying leverage points and driving real change. Whether you’re part of a community foundation or a funder passionate about systemic, sustainable impact, this session will spark new thinking and offer practical tools to turn local action into lasting transformation.
The Zoom link will be sent couple of days before the meeting.
